UM mailbox policies are useful for applying and standardizing UM configuration settings for UM-enabled users. UM mailbox policies link UM-enabled mailboxes with a UM dial plan and apply settings, such as PIN requirements and dialing authorization, for the users covered by the policy.
Note The edits you make aren't saved until you click Save.
How do I create a UM mailbox policy?

Select Manage My Organization > Phone & Voice > UM Dial Plans.

Select the UM dial plan that you want the new UM mailbox policy associated with, and then click Details.

On the dial plan page, under UM Mailbox Policies, click New.

On the New UM Mailbox Policy page, enter a unique name for the policy.

Click Save to create the new policy.
