The UM dial plan Details page shows you a summary of the dial plan, including the name, type, and extension length. To configure dial codes, Outlook Voice Access, voice mail settings, and dialing rules for the dial plan, click Configure UM Dian Plan. On this page, you associate UM mailbox policies, auto attendants, and hunt groups with your UM dial plans to manage the different aspects of your UM service.

UM Mailbox Policies UM mailbox policies specify common PIN policies, features, custom message text, and dialing authorization for a group of UM-enabled mailboxes. For more information, see Create a New UM Mailbox Policy and Change a UM Mailbox Policy.

UM Auto Attendants UM auto attendants automatically answer and route calls to your organization. For more information, see Create a New UM Auto Attendant and Configure a UM Auto Attendant.

UM Hunt Groups UM hunt groups link a UM IP gateway to a UM dial plan to handle calls to and from that gateway. If you have a Telex or E.164 dial plan, you need at least one UM hunt group for each UM IP gateway. For more information, see Create a New UM Hunt Group.
Note UM IP gateways, which you can create and configure on the UM IP Gateway tab, are also associated with UM dial plans and provide the communication between UM and your physical telephone system.

To create a new UM mailbox policy, auto attendant, or hunt group, under that section, click New.

To change the settings for a UM mailbox policy or auto attendant, select it and click Details. If you need to make a change to a UM hunt group, you must have to delete the hunt group and re-create it.
