In this video demo, we explain the differences between the two types of multi-mailbox searches that are available when you create or edit a multi-mailbox search:
- Estimate-only This type of search estimates how many hits meet the search criteria but it doesn't copy the results to the discovery mailbox where the search results are stored. This lets you quickly determine whether you need to refine the search criteria to narrow the results.
- Copy the results This option runs the search and copies the results to the discovery mailbox. For searches that have a large number of hits, this can take a long time.
