You can assign an Exchange ActiveSync device policy to a user mailbox to manage how the user synchronizes their mobile devices to Microsoft Exchange.
Note Users are automatically assigned to the Default policy unless you explicitly assign a different device policy to the user mailbox.
How do I assign an Exchange ActiveSync device policy to a user mailbox?

Select Manage My Organization > Users & Groups > Mailboxes.

In the Mailboxes list, select a user, and then click Details.

Under Phone & Voice Features, select Exchange ActiveSync, and then click Edit.

Click Browse next to Exchange ActiveSync device policy.

Under Name, select the policy you want. A summary of policy settings appears in the details pane.

Click OK to assign the policy to the user mailbox.
