| Outlook Live Directory Sync (OLSync) is the synchronisation solution for Microsoft Live@edu customers. If you are running a cloud-based email service with Microsoft Office 365 for enterprises, you must use the Microsoft Online Services Directory Synchronisation tool to synchronise your directories. |
When you run Outlook Live Directory Sync (OLSync) Setup, it installs files and creates the Active Directory Management Agent and the Outlook Live Management Agent and the connector spaces for the agents, and initiates the metaverse.
Run Setup
-
Download the appropriate setup file:
-
To run OLSync Setup, double-click the file you downloaded.
-
On the Welcome to Outlook Live Management Agent Setup page, click Next.
-
On the End-User Licence Agreement page, select I accept the terms in the end-user licence agreement, and then click Next.
-
On the Select an Installation Option, select Install and configure Outlook Live Management Agent (Recommended), and then click Install.
Note If the Prerequisite Verification page appears, you have to cancel Setup and comply with all prerequisites before you can continue. Click Cancel. For more information to help you comply with the prerequisites, see OLSync Prerequisites.
