Email messages are delivered to a server that hosts your mailbox. By default, messages are stored in the Inbox of your mailbox.

The number of unread email messages in your Inbox appears in brackets next to the Inbox. The Inbox displays unread messages in bold type. After an email message is opened or marked as Read, the message reverts to normal type.

To mark a message you've already opened as Unread, right-click the message, and then click
Mark as Unread on the menu.

To add the sender of a message to your Safe Senders List, right-click the message, point to
Junk Email, and then click Add Sender to Safe Senders List. To treat all subsequent messages from the sender as junk email, right-click the message, point to
Junk Email, and then click Add Sender to Blocked Senders List.

To open a folder in your mailbox, click the name of the folder that you want to open in the Navigation Pane.
